Never Enough ...
I can be sitting still, lying awake, driving thru traffic or washing dishes and I will always feel content with who I am, where I am or even what I have become.
Not quite an easy state to achieve all of the time but it is possible.
It makes it a lot easier to achieve this state especially after observing others trying to climb a mountain that is not even a mountain at all .. but a mere image or expectation of what it means to be beautiful, successful or well loved in a society.
Physical beauty is fleeting and a mirage. It is also subjective. There is NO one standard.
A great networth cannot buy you peace of mind, or emotional security. Money is only as good as the TRUE intent for what it is used for - minus the numerous rationalizations people make for putting it to use.
I am cruel. I find much humor in observing the turmoil and wasted energy spent by others in achieving such material status. I will work on that. But I should rather laugh than to cry and become disheartened by the way people strive for false images that lead them further away to living an Authentic Life.
For some, it is NEVER ENOUGH.
Then there are those who take one moment from the next as all that there is - Perfect and Enough.
